I read that the new premier of another state in Australia is moving on legislation to allow medicinal cannabis use.. in 2015.
The article states they are considering allowing terminally ill patients or those with life-threatening conditions, with chronic pain to use the drug. It also mentions cannabis oil for children with illnesses that can benefit from it too. It says that recreational use is being ruled out.. but I understand that several Australian states have already got varying levels of decriminalisation (South Aust., Western Aust., Northern Territory ?).
Fingers crossed that this does pass & other states (& maybe NZ) could also sit up & take notice ?!
There is an increasing ground-swell of support around the ‘western world’.. away from the outdated zero-tolerance that has dominated over half of the last century. “Viva the Revolution !!”
