I hear that the NZ Govt. (in association with Australia) is still working on possible approval for Hemp seed food products. In the meantime, many other OECD countries are already marketing these type of products:
1) organic milk (similar to soy milk) also made into cheese & other dairy alternatives etc.
2) ground into flour; used to make cakes, biscuits, breads etc.
3) pressed into food bars (similar to muesli bars) with fruits etc.
4) pressed into cooking oil or made into salad dressing etc.
5) animal feed
Hemp seeds are reportedly high in CBD (cannabidiol) compounds, but also omega fatty acids, all these are beneficial for human & animal health.
I will keep an eye on further news, on this issue 🙂
