I was looking at the NZ laws recently & thought.. what is the thing, that is really being prohibited here ? perhaps.. drugs
In recent years there has been quite a bit of discussion; UNGASS at UN, Gen assembly in 2016 etc. BUT it seems this is just a ploy to avoid the truth about the cannabis/other drug laws in Aotearoa/NZ & much of the world who have slightly ‘loosen’ their drug laws (med-use) but still refuse to go further. Then i took a long had mental look & saw: it is actually ‘law reform’ that is being prohibited. The drugs are listed by UN agreement, as.. ‘Illegal’ & the system is designed to maintain the ‘status quo’ at any cost. This was highlighted when Nixon changed a branch of the Police service, to DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) & declared war. This effectively made it ‘irrevocable’ in many people’s mind (public psyche).. ‘apathy‘ & black-markets have pretty well reigned since.. “NOTOK”SEZInI !
